Finding high-quality free photos for your blog posts [VIDEO]

This is the NS Web Solutions Video Podcast, the show where we talk about how nonprofits can use the Web to get their message out, and about nonprofit website design in general.  In this episode we look at some really cool ways to find good quality free photos for your blog posts. If you're blogging, it can be a good idea to include one high-quality photo with each blog post, but finding those photos can be a pain in the neck. We'll look at how three great websites can help you find those photos and get them ready for your blog: flickr.com, picnik.com, and morguefile.com

As mentioned in the video, there's a great article from Bobbi L. Newman at the "Librarian by Day" blog called How to attribute a Creative Commons photo from Flickr, definitely worth a read if you're not sure how to attribute.

If this helps you, please let us know! Or, if it raises more questions for you, or if you just want to give some constructive feedback (which we love!), leave us a comment below.

Good video!

Hey, Allen, I really appreciate this video. I am going to forward it to someone in my family who often needs to make presentations. It might come in handy for me, also. Well done!

Thanks

Glad you liked it, Laura. And yes, if you know someone who can benefit, please send them a link.
